Warm Pear and Butter Banana with Cinnamon & Nutmeg

This heart warming delicious treat will have your home scented with the warming aromas of cinnamon, butter and nutmeg. You’ll just feel the warmth and loving care of winter captured by these gentle organic and nourishing ingredients.

Serves 2

Cooking time 5 mins

Ingredients:

2 Bananas

2 Pears

1 Tablespoon of Honey

2 Tablespoons of Tahini (Hulled)

20 grams of butter

cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Prep:

Peel bananas and dice at an angle

Wash and dry pears thoroughly and slice down the round belly of the Pear.

Method:

Heat pan to moderate heat

add butter, swirl butter to coat pan and add diced ingredients

Gently swirl ingredients around in the pan until all coated with butter, gently turn them over to coat both sides, add in a sprinkle of nutmeg and a sprinkle of cinnamon to taste.

Scoop a generous dollop of of tahini and swish on the middle of the plate, dress the tahini swish with manukah honey and serve ingredients from pan to plate, what I normally do with these gentle bites when plating is either slide them straight onto plate from the pan or gently pick them up with a spoon and serve them on the plate, you want to also pick up every bit of warm butter nutmeg and pour onto the plate over the fruit.

You’ll enjoy this gorgeous plating with a glass of desert wine, chamomile tea or a cup of hot cocoa.
